Eight homeowners in The homeowners allege
that the company pressured them to buy homes at inflated values that
they were not able to afford.
They claim that the salesmen were working with attorneys and
lenders to close deals that would leave the owners with the inability to
pay. One of the homeowners
claims that United Homes agreed to help her find a tenant to bring in
rent to cover the excessive mortgage she would have.
The tenant eventually stopped paying rent and when evicted,
