Deal Possibilities in the Michael Vick Case |

Federal prosecutors are considering seeking a superseding indictment against Michael Vick, meaning that more charges could be filed against the player. Inside sources say that a plea deal is likely, and it may result in prison time of 1 – 2 years. Vick is facing three felony charges of dog fighting, with each possibly leading to 5 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. Two of Vick’s co-defendents, Punell Peace and Quanis Phillips, are expected to plead guilty and have agreed to testify against Vick. The case is a long fall from grace for Vick, who was once the highest
paid player in the NFL. As a
result of his involvement in dog fighting, he has lost most of his
endorsements and risks losing his NFL career.
