Dog The Bounty Hunter Off the Air After Using Racial Slurs Against Son's Girlfriend

Duane Chapman, also known as “Dog the Bounty Hunter”, was recently caught on tape using the “N-word” to describe his son’s girlfriend.  Talking to his son Tucker, Chapman stated that he did not want his son dating his black girlfriend, Monique, because the family uses racial slurs on a regular basis.
 
“I’m not gonna take a chance ever in life of losing everything I’ve worked for for 30 years because some (expletive) n-gger heard us say n-gger….”, Chapman was recorded as saying.   A&E, who produces the hit show hosted by Chapman, has indefinitely removed the show from the air.  The network has not yet cancelled the show completely.
 
"In evaluating the circumstances of the last few days, A&E has decided to take 'Dog The Bounty Hunter' off the network's schedule for the foreseeable future," an A&E spokesman said.
 
Chapman has called The Rev. Al Sharpton and consulted with his black pastor in order to show that he is working toward racial healing.  His process for managing the damage is similar to that used by Don Imus and Michael Richards earlier this year.
