Foxy Brown Launches Website from Behind Bars

Foxy Brown plans to maintain her current fan base, despite her current status as a hip hop jail bird.  Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, has created a new website, FreeFoxyBrown.com that will not only keep her connected with her fans but it will also feature new tracks from her upcoming album, Brooklyn’s Don Diva.  

She says, "I devoted my career to building an affinity with my fans who have supported me unflinchingly and no barbed wire fence or prison wall will stop that. I am in great spirits and very focused, and needed a forum to communicate to the people."

According to contactMusic.com, Brooklyn’s Don Diva was slated to hit stores December 7, but executives at Koch Records were so impressed with Brown’s latest lyrical creation that they moved the alum’s release date to November.

Keeping herself in the news one way or the other, Brown made headlines earlier this year for claiming to be pregnant.  It was reveled later that the would-be pregnancy was false and may have been a possible attempt to help the rap diva avoid jail time.  Currently Brown is serving a year for violating the terms of her probation by failing to attend anger management classes.
