Vick Chew Toy Avoids Recalls

Since his indictment, it seems that everyone wants a piece of Michael Vick, and now every dog can have him for the low price of $9.99 and…if they’re willing to wait a few weeks.

According to gambling911.com, Aim LLC has ceased distribution of the Vick’s Dog Chew Toy™ based on toy recalls for products manufactured in China. Recent toy recalls due to hazardous materials have caused CEO Darren Usher, to take these precautions.

In a press release, Darren Usher, CEO and President of Aim stated, “Although we are disappointed that we had to make this decision, we will not produce or deliver a product that has not met all of our strict guidelines or our quality control standards set forth. We are committed to delivering a product that exceeds these expectations, is safe as intended and advertised, and we will continue the efforts in achieving this standard.”

The company has promised to give a portion of the proceeds to the Jacksonville Humane Society. However, due to current events, the Humane Society declined the offer, saying that they wanted to stick with products with they can trust. Usher also said that the chew toy will have been tested and health compliant on or before October 19, 2007.
