Foxy Brown Album to Come Out in November
On September 14, Rap artist Foxxy Brown was hit with 12 months of jail
for violating probation. According to starpulse.com, once Judge Melissa
Jackson discovered the performer had missed anger management classes and
had not kept a clean record since assaulting nail salon stylists three
years ago, she informed Brown that her celebrity status did not place
her above the law.
Earlier this year, Foxxy Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, was
caught lying to police about her name and address during a traffic stop
and assaulted her neighbor with a Blackberry phone over a disagreement
about the volume of her car stereo. Judge Jackson considered these
actions a breach of probation. She jailed the rapper at a hearing in
August, until her most recent appearance, where she was sentenced to a
year in jail with eligibility for parole in eight months.
In August, Foxxy’s lawyers told the court that she was three months
pregnant. But her manager Chaz Williams shattered those rumors in a
statement released last Wednesday. According FoxBrown.com, Williams
recealed “And to the pregnancy rumors, this is the official
statement. She is not pregnant.”
Musically, things are progressing smoothly and quickly. Foxxy Brown’s
first album in six years will be released November 20 instead of its
initial debut in December. Foxxy finished Brooklyn's Don Diva just
before she was sentenced last week.
