After a cancelled wedding and a quiet civil ceremony in Atlanta family and friends of Usher and Tameka Foster never thought a public wedding would happen but it did.  The two finally pulled off their dream wedding last Saturday in Atlanta. Two hundred plus guests gathered at the luxurious Chateau Elan Winery and Resort a plush 16^th century French style chateau set atop 3,500 acres of rolling hills just outside of Atlanta. 

Among those on the  guest list were Oprah gal pal Gayle King, Music manager Benny Medina, singers Janet Jackson and Ashanti just to name a few. But surprisingly the biggest guest of all Ushers mom Jonetta Patton wasn’t there for the ceremony.

The couple's originally planned wedding at music mogul L.A. Reid’s Sagaponack N.Y home was abruptly cancelled.  Media speculated that it was because of Jonetta’s absence and clash ins with Foster in the past. But this time, without his mom by his side Usher and Tameka exchanged their vows and proclaimed their love while guests enjoyed a sit down dinner inside the resorts ball room and an exclusively made five tiered white chocolate wedding cake with handmade flowers by Napa’s Perfect Endings. 

A wedding guest was quoted saying “They are in love and they wanted this to be perfect, they had their reasons for not getting married (before), and that's their own business. Now they could get things done the way they wanted to, their family and friends can be here now." And I guess at the end of the day that’s all that matters!
