A resounding NO!  There are serious problems with the wealth gap in America.  Still problems with racism.  The fight for equal rights goes on.  But Dr. King would not have resorted to the “By any means necessary” philosophy (un-Biblical) that has been undertaking by our President and other black organizations. It was not part of Dr. King’s non-violent stand.  Nor would he support the demise of the institution of marriage (failure to defend DOMA).  Neither would he support homosexual rights when the Black woman of marriage age has maybe a 30% chance of getting married and then a 50% chance of getting divorce and a less than 10% chance of finding a suitable husband or a boy friend after going through all the afore mentioned drama.
Why would Dr. King support violating the Bible and then denigrating the family structure and bring more kaos and violence to our neighborhoods by facilitating more young black men being persuaded by other homosexuals into the lifestyle in their formative stages, leaving even less marriage eligible men?  Less not even mentioned the gender identify crisis and confusion that already reighs amongst our young black men and women already. Why would Dr. King contribute to this type of legacy?  We have (America & especially Black folk) have drank the Kool Aid.
It amazes me to see so many Black people go to Church every Sunday hear the Bible preached and taught and can’t discern right from wrong.  I got to mention the educated folks too.  We can’t see how the proposed emigration policy of amnesty for illegals is and will continue rob many of our young men and women of opportunities?  We can’t see how CAP and Trade, shutting down coal fired plants would drive up energy cost and effect the poorest among us (Black folk)?  Yes, we  need jobs, yes we  need better schools, yes we need to deal with unfair/racism treatment, but are we going to trade our freedom, liberty and Godly values to get it?  How did we get in this position in the first place?  It has something to do with our nations (mostly white people) not living up to the values enumerated in the Constition.  Then when Dr. King and the movement pricked their conscious we started to receive opportunity, but forgot about the God and the values that sustained us while we were being oppressed.
Our people were headed in the wrong direction socially primarily within the family and educational arena.  Dr. King would not be endorsing “class warfare” as a means of dealing
with our issues.  I think he would advocate blacks improving their education and starting their
own businesses instead of protesting against the 1%.  When I read my Bible, it tells me you reap what you sow.  So whatever the 1% stole will come to nothing and whatever the 99% tries to take will come to nothing.  It reaks of violence to me.
