Former Republican presidential nominee Herman Cain, who is currently on his “Revolution Solution” publicity tour, took some time out on Monday to
stop in and chat with the ladies of The View. One of the topics discussed was Santorum’s “black people”, or should I say “blah people”, comment. (Although Santorum can be audibly heard saying “black people”, he has insisted that he was transitioning during the phrase and in fact, said “blah people.”)
Cain defended Santorum’s overall point of ending entitlements, but took issue with Santorum for “putting his foot in his mouth” and injecting race into the conversation.
This isn’t the first time Cain has criticized a fellow Republican. Before Cain dropped out of the campaign, he took a lot of heat from Republicans for criticizing Rick Perry’s “Niggerhead” ranch.
When pressed by the ladies of The View about whether he’d make an endorsement, Cain said ”I’m going to make an unconventional endorsement. The media won’t like what I do on the 19th of this month.” Cain may be officially out of the race, but he’s still doing his best to remain in the limelight.
