Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney says that he would deport the uncle of President Barack Obama after his recent arrest for drunk driving. Onyango Obama was arrested in Boston and it was determined that he is an illegal immigrant.
During an interview on the Howie Carr radio show in Boston, Romney answered “yes,” when asked if he would deport Onyango Obama. At first, Romney didn’t recognize the man’s name, but he said that the immigration laws should be enforced.
Onyango Obama is a 67-year old half-brother of President Obama’s father. His case is still in court, in Framingham, Massachusetts. He was held without bail on allegations that he violated an order to return to Kenya 20 years ago.
