Pres. of College Republicans at U. Texas Tweets “Black President Snorts Crack”

Cassie Wright is not just an average Republican.  She is actually the leader of the College Republicans at The University of Texas, an organization that is long known for it’s racist rants against African Americans.   In a recent tweet, Wright decided that being black must somehow be linked to the consumption of crack cocaine.

The following was tweeted from Wright’s account: ”My president is black, he snorts a lot of crack. Holla. #2012 #Obama”

The tweet is hardly a deviation from the kinds of tasteless, racially offensive rhetoric that we’ve heard from the College Republicans in Texas before.  Earlier this year, another leader of the College Republicans said that the assassination of President Obama would be “tempting.” Both the University of Texas and Texas A&M are well-known for the racism being spewed by their College Republican organizations.   What saddens me as an educator is the fact that these students are peculiar reflections of the learning environment from which they came.

Disagreeing with President Obama is not a crime.  Being angry at liberals is entirely acceptable.  But when the thinking and maturity of students is not appropriately elevated by the faculty within their institution, this communicates a significant flaw in the capabilities of the educators and adults around them.  Given that the students at The University of Texas are continuously making national news for producing a multitude of creative manifestations of ugly racial hatred, one has to wonder what the university is doing to stop the flow of this kind of pathetically unAmerican language.  This kind of language from future Republican leaders of America is not just insulting to black folks; it’s an embarrassment to America and a threat to our nation’s long-term political stability – in other words, it’s impossible to love America and simultaneously incite those around you to want to murder it’s leader (as a prior President of the Campus Republicans at U. Texas did just a few months ago).

Of course Wright and the College Republicans should apologize, but good old fashioned Texas racial arrogance will keep him from offering a thorough apology.  In fact, intimidating and attacking African Americans has a long history in the state of Texas and is more likely to be rewarded than chastised.  As he’s been taught by his predecessors and professors, Wright will likely refuse to take responsibility for his words and lay out a set of excuses for his disrespectful reference to the first black president.  He won’t even be forced by his campus or his mentors to acknowledge the fact that he has accused the leader of the free world of being a crackhead.

Wright’s ability to toss racial hatred toward Obama and escape with little consequence is what White Supremacy is all about.  In spite of the fact that we feel exonerated from our past by choosing our first black president, America continues to be one of the most racist countries in the world.  Ironically, it was the election of Barack Obama that made this fact clearer than ever before.

    I don’t expect much from children these days when we are talking about racist white children specifically. What I find incredible is the students position and the ignorance of not knowing the cocaine is sniffed, crack is smoked. The retard doesn’t know the difference and could not be educated on as much as an institution of higher learning to boot. Texas is the American Outhouse so I am not surprised about the sh_t coming out of Texas. Can you say “Rick Perry?”

    I have noticed of late more and more racist cynics raising their ugly heads within the Republican party.  President Obama is one of the smartest presidents we’ve ever had, and he has destroyed the belief these people held for many many years that the white race is somehow superior to all others and that America has always been a
    white nation.  This is the reason for all the attacks against President Obama and the black race in general.  Dr. King once said, “No lie can live forever…” and because this lie of racial superiority has been exposed people like Cassie Wright are in full panic mode, unlike Herman Cain, President Obama appears to have no immoral skeletons in his closet that could be easily exposed.  What do they do?  They try to develop one, they try and place the “Marion Barry charge” upon our extremely innocent president.  It won’t work,  I believe that the vast majority of Americans are sickened by racists such as these who proudly proclaim themselves members of the Republican Party.  I believe that the more base-less attacks these people place on President Obama, it will equate to more votes received by President Obama during the general election of 2012 thereby solidifying his re-election to office of President of the United States.

      I agree. It’s the fact that he clearly demonstrates a level of intellect that challenges their own, hence the dogmatic approach by young and old republicans alike. Whats more telling is that they chose to debate him with foolish suggestions instead of with their presumed intellect. This brings to focus the weakness of their kind and ultimately the falsehood of their supremecy.

They don’t just sit around and hope things happen the way they want them to, they scheme, plan, strategize, con, lie, trick, fool, misdirect, spin, and rethink their plots and machinations. They have all of the money and the power and they recruit the smartest people from the best colleges all over the world! They literally know what will trigger the emotions of people and move people to do what they expect them to do. If they make mistakes they simply go back to their various think tanks, their “drawing boards” and rework the situation to benefit themselves.

      In this social structure the Anglo-elite who’s ancestors indulged in pillage and genocide, slavery, and deceit of all sorts, are continuing the traditions and white-supremacist culture started before they left England! They will use whomever they need and destroy whomever they please. They will sacrifice our troops and psyche the public into believing one thing while running a myriad of scams and cons! We have been victimized since the very beginning. We have been victimized exponentially more than the overall populace, but as you can see the public are not excluded!

      Mr. Obama works for the same people who assassinate the leaders of other nations after their elite-owned media has thoroughly lied and dehumanized them! These ruthless “elite” have people murdered without blinking an eye. Don’t think for one minute that they can’t control voting, and of course who they will allow to be recognized as candidates. They own the media so if they do not wish the public to know a specific person, we would never hear of them! They have us at a serious disadvantage in that they hold all the “cards” in their favor. They create the spins and the titles, and the cards!

      They chose Mr. Obama. It appears that they first chose his father and brought his group here to educate them for a special project. It appears that they were already planning to prepare a specific type of “black” to be their choice for president some day and when they decided it to be Obama they spared no time molding him into the person he is today! If you were in Mr. Obama’s shoes would you do what you were told if you were guaranteed safety and untold treasures? Would you betray your ‘color’? This would be much easier if you were half and half and your ancestors were not from the original US slaves. Exactly where do you think your allegiance would be if you were completely nurtured and raised by a totally white family and most of your peers where white? As it is, many “blacks” have been stripped of our allegiance to each other through time and methods of separation,dysfunction, and disunity! We were victimized then and we are victimized now to the point that we hardly know how to live amongst each other, and our children have been conditioned to turn on and kill each other! If the Anglo-elite can turn Africans against each other across the diaspora, as they are doing, think what strategies they used to create our gang environments and purposely ply them with crack cocaine. To understand the kind of people who plot against us correctly you must study hard and long and have a world view. It would help to have traveled to Europe or Asia. You would need to find more truthful methods of education and you would need to be able to think outside of the box. Many of us never achieve those traits, and many of us never had a chance. Many of us who understood and tried to affect change were quickly chopped down! Do not allow yourself to believe the hype!

        I beg to differ with you my friend, your conspiracy theory is more a fairy tale than anything else.  Does it make sense to you that they specifically chose President Obama’s father as if they knew that one day his son will become the first black President of the United States?  It’s a fairy tale on your part sir, that they actually molded and groomed President Obama for this specific time in history.  I imagine that you’re using this fantasy in an attempt to make yourself appear to be some sort of scholar to whomever chooses to believe what you have to say.  And if you were right (you’re not) but if you were.  Do you propse I choose the alternate? Do you propose I join the side that has insisted on making mockery of my people? Or do you propose that I not exercise my right to vote at all? Somebody died in order for me to vote for the candidate of MY choice, which happens to be President Obama, you or no one else can change my opinion. This is the one thing I do love about America, what you call “hype” I call victory, and you have to freedom to believe whatever it is you want to believe, and so do I.  With all due respect sir, I refuse to believe your conspiracy theory/fairy tale.

    I resent this writer and his article for claiming that my school, The University of Texas at Austin has anything to do with that controversial tweet that came out today. Though I’m just as upset as he is, I’d like to take a second to acknowledge the wonderful faculty and professors I have had, as well as the great friends I have made here. UT is a school I transferred to and I had never been to the state of texas once before it. I received mixed reactions from some people up north claiming to be open-minded. As it turns out, it was the best decision I have made and I don’t think I’m alone! Dr. Watkins, the racial insensitivity in Cassie Wright’s tweet reflects the attitude of Cassie Wright and NOT the University of Texas, an institution that has made me more open-minded and happy than I have ever been before. 
    I feel bad for any student who has heard you speak at Syracuse University.  You need to do some real self-examination and understand that you are doing exactly what you are campaigning against— promoting stereotypes and generalizations on a group of people.  UT is one of the largest public schools in the country.  There are more than 50,000 people at the University.  I received an academic scholarship to Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School of Communication in 2008 and this article only makes me happier that I decided against it.  Please, for gods sake, be intellectually honest.  UT’s past has not always been bright, but you are an expert exaggerator.  Furthermore, you can rest assured that neither Cassie Wright (a woman, nice editing btw) nor the college republican she replaced will have any future in politics.  Let’s see how long you keep this comment here.

    We as so-called “blacks” are sitting in a vipers nest if you will. Some of us are doing so well that they don’t think much about what republicans say. Some of us are so scatterbrained and driven by emotion and religious beliefs that they join republicans because they believe republicans are on the ‘righteous’ track etc. We are a seriously lost people who have lost our way and cannot understand that we have been led astray by the same people who would make attacks on us and prime us to think and act like they do.
    Many of our most successful have been assimilated well into the ‘dark side’ and function completely on the principles of our detractors. To them this is good, but a closer look would show them that they contribute to the overall demise of our people in numerous ways.
    Mr. Obama is like that. He has been educated in their schools and raised by them in every way. I believe that he has been nurtured by the Anglo-elite early in life to become just what he is, all the way down to his college studies, his social work, and the importance that he married a ‘black’ woman. Most of our so-called “race” have been so assimilated into this white-supremacist society that they cannot see straight and don’t realize that every achievement they make benefits them but benefits the white-supremacists more-so! Some of us recognize this and try to offset the damage they do by contributing to this very abusive social structure, but some think worse about ‘our’ people than they do “whites” and have literally gone completely over to the dark side. People like Colon Powell, Ward Connerly, Condoleezza Rice, Clarence Thomas, and Barack Obama serve the dark side with a kind of sordid pride and many of our community are sided with that ideal and relish their participation. The sad part of this is that they contribute to the destruction of the African Diaspora exponentially.
    Finally. These kind of black people are favored by the white status quo and they serve this white supremacist structure in such a way that insures their success, yet they don’t realize that the elite of this white power-structure have no love for any of these black people and will stab them in the back if they feel the need to do so! The Anglo-Elite have shown their hatred and disdain for all blacks in everything they have ever done and the fact that some of us are better off now has only occurred after millions suffering and dying!

    Our people seem to be mentally bereft of conscious and unconscious realization as to where we are in this country and who we are dealing with. The Jews did that in the 1940s and found themselves quickly caught up in a genocidal attack that they could not believe even while it was happening! I see that going on with us today, but the heat has not yet been turn up fully! Everything whites say about any of us should be taken as a sign of terrible things to come for us here, but the fact that they are taking broad pot shots at the man who is supposed to be respected as president is an orchestrated method to gain Mr Obama sympathy and empathy in the wake of the coming elections. We’ve witnessed the vile and conniving efforts made by politicians when it comes to elections and so far we’ve seen attempts to broaden Mr. Obama’s voter base by watching the elite-owned media exploit his accomplishments like attacking Afghanistan and supposedly killing Osama Bin Laden etc. People are very foolish to believe anything these people put out there for our information when we know that they redact and keep secret all truthful and pertinent information and tell us fabricated lies to fill our preconditioned minds with garbage and just slightly believable BS.

    Just try to grasp and remember that all signs show that Mr. Obama works for them and because he works for them he is restricted from serving the public and especially from serving blacks! Just try to grasp the fact that the white supremacist elite force for which Mr. Obama actually works for is pillaging and killing ‘people of color’ all over the world just as they always have, and they are using blacks to help them, just as the always have!

    As a conservative student in Texas, I would like to express how embarrassed and frankly disgusted with Wright’s comments. It is sad that someone in such a position would be so ignorant, and its unfortunate that this one person’s ignorance will cause an ugly view of all republican Texas students from around our nation. I personally have never come across an educator who expresses racial prejudice, and believe I have received a well rounded education, complete with an open mind and solid morals. I think Wright may be more influenced by her parents and circle of friends, so I ask readers to please not let Wright be an example of the Texas educational system. It is a blatant example of bad parenting, this child was not taught any class, poise, dignity, or how to hold a position in the public eye.

      You’re awesome. I feel that you can be a conservative and still act with respect for those whose opinions you disagree with. After all, that’s all this is. Politics are becoming a war when it doesn’t have to be. I just think the more hateful and ignorant a person is the more likely they will be the face of an organization. But after reading your post, I can respect a conservative if he/she acts appropriately when it comes to difference in opinions and political beliefs.

    Many people died without seeing a black president in the United States. Still others don’t wake to this reality and what is worse, others believed seen the end of racism in the United States … The latter are the more wrong.
    The United States has been characterized, is a country and cultural multiracial, like the most racist country in the world or one of them (don’t forget to Germany and other countries). When Obama Won the election I spoke with my best friend and I told him that with the election Barack Obama, all the people will see more evident the level of racism in the United States. My friend wasn’t agree to me.
    However, the discriminatory and racist messages come from students, should call us to   reflect, because the future is in hands of these young .. is unfortunate that some students are unaware that racism has caused and there is no money in the world to repair the damage caused and the damage that continues to cause racism ….. or students will not know that racism is a result of slavery, and not the other way?
