It looks like the school-to-prison pipeline is now in full effect. The New York Civil Liberties Union is sending out red flags after it’s been determined that at least one student is arrested per day in New York City schools, with that student almost always being black or hispanic. The NYCLU refers to the data as reflective of “over-policing” of black and brown children.
