Malcolm X was killed by black men soon after saying that racism is wrong in ANY direction.  Using his memory in this manner is purely trite.  He knew that hatred wasn’t going to solve our problems, but he was killed for it.

The obvious question is not what Malcolm would think about the state of Black Athletes ( the Professional ones are doing quite well ) , but what would he think about the state of Black America in general ?

What would he think about young Blacks shooting each other over perceived disrespect?

How would he feel about the first generation of Blacks who instead of doing better in terms of economics and education are doing worse ?

What would he think about Black Culture becoming less valued in American Society?

Would he feel good about the rich and proud legacy of African American Music becoming marginalized and represented by talent-less Hip Hop Artists who promote Sex , disrespect for  women and idolize Convicts and Gangsters ?

If he were around today it is probable that he would see his granddaughters dancing in their panties on YouTube, or in Clubs doing dances with strange boys that look more like having sex with clothes on .

I could go on and on , but my guess is Malcolm would be shocked to realize that our Country’s consciousness about Civil Rights and doing what is right was just a passing fad .

@google-c0deb366368e79411496e516029d299c:disqus  I suspect that a wise man such as Malcolm could have seen this coming. These things were actually pretty bad when he was alive and he was a victim/product of it. He died because of the good he was trying to do. The message of his and King’s assassinations was made purposely to keep all perspective “black” leaders from stepping up to speak against this racist and diabolical elite driven society which is filled with so many misdirected and mindless people on both sides of the color line. We don’t have a serious chance to correct our community in a society where the power source is focused on keeping us down and away from becoming a powerful people. Of course with our fractured and misdirected/confused masses we are as doomed now as we were when they stole our ancestors here.

Mr. Gargan when Malcolm was killed President Johnson had recently implemented the Great Society Programs and the mood in our Country was supportive of Civil Rights, eradicating discrimination and addressing some of the harms perpetrated against African Americans for hundreds of years . No one could have predicted that our Society would change to one where Social Programs and doing what is right would become unpopular .

When Malcolm , Martin,The Black Panthers, SNCC, Core, the Black Muslims and other  Groups demanded Justice for our Community African Americans as a group were viewed in a positive light by many people throughout in our Country and throughout the World and expected to continue to improve our condition and position in the future .
Only God could have known that for the first time in our history trends and important measures  for us as a group would actually be negative instead of positive .

Of course no one knew that our culture and rich musical history would one day disappear and be replaced by a form that requires no talent , or creativity whatsoever and one that idolizes violence , disrespect for women and “Gangsterism”, any more than one could have predicted that one day millions of Mexicans would invade take our jobs and make speaking Spanish an advantage instead of a disadvantage .

No I strongly disagree that Malcolm , or anyone else could have seen this coming .

I pray every day that Malcolm could be with us to see the state that the African American people are in, and much by their own choosing. they are caught up in too much instead of community and doing for each other.  I deplore the Black man for letting himself not see the worth of his Black woman and treat her with respect.  Know your history!!  Leave the white women alone.  The white men are not fawning over our beautiful, intelligent Black women. No, the Black men pick up the “rejects” from the white man.  Every Black person and white as well, need to read the autobio. of Malcolm X. I disagree that his daughters would be parading their bodies – not if they’re Malcolm’s and Betty Shabazz’ children.  Wake up my people.

My remark was not an indictment of his personal family and was not personal it was meant to simply denote what is happening in our Society today.
