    Ms. Phillips made very good points and here is another suggestion. You do not have to feel compelled to shop because it is a holiday. The very best time to shop is really after the holidays.

    I don’t believe this lady get’s it, the problem in this country is corporations constantly create ways for Americans to spend their money, if you pay attention every month on the calendar except for August has some event for you to spend your money. The point I would like to make is for American’s not to bite into the hype, don’t forget the consumer has the power if you don’t buy the retailer will adjust his program to you not the other way around. This year many retailers opened up at midnight the reasoning was they say consumers ask for this, that sounds good but don’t forget if the retailers told consumers they would open up at ten o’clock pm the customers would line up, the retailers sets the price and the hours. Do not let corporate America dictate to you.
