Jerry Sandusky appears to only be the latest in authoritative sports figures who’ve taken advantage of young boys in their care.  Donald Fitzpatrick, a long time clubhouse manager for the Boston Red Sox, molested several boys between 1971 and 1991 in Winter Haven, Florida, where the team held its spring training.

As more of these “Sodomites” are being exposed.  It’s up to parents, famiily members to monitor our own children.   They are your responsibility, you brought them here!

  • Mr. Man

It is very true that you should monitor your own children. That in no way should soften the blow dealt to Mr. Sandusky or any other person that commits a crime such as this.To be violated in this way plays out in your adult life as does most tragic incidents. It’s far bigger than the who should have been on watch if you focus on that you loose sight and in some ways blame the parent. You should have open coversation with your children but this is not an easy conversation for a child to have with anyone and unless the mother is still bathing this child she may not know for years. Considering the position this man held as a coach of a major league team it would be safe to say that you might think your children are safe. Fact is this is an adult male who molested these young males he is the criminal in this matter not the parents.
