A third woman has stepped forward to say that she considered filing a complaint against Herman Cain for sexual harassment. The woman said that Cain exhibited aggressive and unwanted behavior toward her during their time working together. This also took place in the 1990s, during the same time period that other women have described uncomfortable interactions with the candidate.
The woman says that Cain invited her to his corporate apartment and that she worked for him at the National Restaurant Association. She also says that Cain made suggestive remarks and gestures toward her. The woman is speaking on condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation.
This is the latest in a series of concerns that have been expressed about the past of Herman Cain. Conservatives have been coming to his defense, including a group that says that it plans to make one million phone calls to stop the “high tech lynching of Cain” in the media. Ann Coulter has also argued that racism is the cause of the attacks, even stating that “our blacks are better than their blacks.”
