Man Convicted in McDonald’s Beating Says He was Only Defending Himself (Video)

You never expect that a trip to McDonald’s might end up with a butt-whooping. Rayon McIntosh is now a full-time resident at Riker’s Island after a fight that made national news headlines. McIntosh was a cashier at a McDonald’s restaurant in New York when he says that a woman and her friend were very aggressive toward him.

I’m Team Rayon-the video clearly shows that he was being provoked while doing his job, and he was actually calm, initially. In my opinion, the moment those women jumped the counter, all bets were off. You never know who you’re messing with, and they decided to provoke the wrong person. Sure, the fact that he served time for manslaughter may suggest susceptibility towards extreme violence, but, in this video, I believe he’s defending himself, as I think they would have definitely harmed him otherwise. We can argue that the beatdown was excessive, but I guarantee that those ruffians will think twice next time before provoking someone else.

Rayon is doomed to a difficult life already because of his police record. This is a sad situation all around. I hope that he’s given another chance.

America NEVER forgives. It is his past record that complicates this and ANY other court case he might have in the future. Once they see you have an F (felony), you will lose the case. I hope he is wise enough to demand a jury trial but usually they bully people to cut a “deal” so prosecutors can build they career.

They slapped the man which in most states constituets an assault. One wild thang jumped over the counter while the other walk around to come at him from the other side. The man was clearly threathened. How was he to know what they had in their hands or under their jacket. He defended himself, the hell with his pass, he served his time for that.
