Though feeding anti-poverty advocacy and anti-capitalism messages were reported in the Bible as trademarks of Jesus, GOP hopeful, Herman Cain has interpreted his stance a little differently.
In a RedState column titled “The Perfect Conservative” last December, Herman Cain claimed that Jesus was a conservative who helped those around him with no government assistance:
“He helped the poor without one government program. He healed the sick without a government health care system. He feed the hungry without food stamps. For three years He was unemployed, and never collected an unemployment check.”
