“Honkies for Herman?”  That’s a bad tone for a political support. That overtones that Herman is backed by bigots and racists. Compare that with ”the Obama Girls?” Republican leaders and TEA Partiers must be crying for they are now stuck with bigot and racist – Herman Cain. FoxNews, Rush and right wing media have been fighting to derail Cain GOP nomination, they are failing. Can you imagine Cain/Bachmann ticket. Both hate Blacks, Hispanics and OWS. That means that ticket will lose Blacks, Hispanics, middle working class, poor whites, OWS and their relatives. As I pointed before Cain also loves Ryan-Care which kills all seniors exhausting their $5,000 voucher. Seniors won’t vote for Cain/Bachmann. Too bad GOP FoxNews people will cry until their eye balls fall off. Let’s prepare for President Obama re-election.

When are black people gonna wake up Obama is not for you…

“When are black people gonna wake up Obama is not for you?” At least President Obama listens to concerns in Black community. Obama invites Blacks in the WH for discussions. Herman won’t. Herman Cain calls Black people foul names. That’s not constructive dialogue. Now we know Cain friends: Koch, TEA Party, GOP, FoxNews and other right wing media. These hate Blacks, Mexicans, poor whites, women and now OWS. I do not think America needs Cain who hates others for their race. Please listen to Nixon tapes and hear how he called Black people. So Cain will do the same as Nixon.

I am glad there are many black people who are not fooled by this new black media. This new black media does not want blacks to thinks for ourselves just go along with what is happeing to us. We know Obama is a failure at being a leader and a president there is no question about it, but black wants us to close our eyes and say he is doing the best he can, thats crap. Obama needs us to be victims to use us, is clear. I would vote for Mr. Cain over Obama because he will not put me on a government plantation where all I do is wait on my welfare. Cain will give me a chance to succeed in life without the government, many black just want something for nothing, or someone selves money. We did not fight for civil rights for this.

It is interesting to have different points of views. I am a retired Black professional that worked hard, as did my colleagues to achieve a comfortable middle class life style.  The problem is, many of these opportunities are not available to our young people to day.  The middle class is an endangered species.  We are all on the plantation and your boy Herman is a paid overseer.

How right you are.  And how glad I am.  Maybe if this new middle class become poor again, they will get in touch with values they have lost in their
mad scramble to the middle.  I, for one, am glad the backbone is being
crushed.  It is time for a change in sociological stratifications.  And for black folks it is definitely time for a re-evaluation of values.  It is high time
the black middle class started thinking outside the boring box.

I don’t know if you are some kind of tea party loving troll or simply a Herman Cain like Uncle Tom but it really makes no difference.  Herman Cain is merely another white man’s nigger (I hate using that word but I will in this case).  President Obama has done more in three years than most presidents have done in their two terms if they were re-elected. I can see that you’re just like that Mississippi Straw Boss, Herman Cain.  He says that, “…blacks aren’t held back by racism” and then he claims that blacks are being “racist” because they disagree with his Booker T. Washington like politics, and now here you are complaining that the Your Black World Coalition is discriminating against you for deleting your comments.  With much ignorance you say that blacks are victims of President Obama; but that’s way better than being a victim of a head scratching and kowtowing Negro like Herman Cain.

With a handle like “Leroy”, I doubt that there is any melanin in your skin at all! And, who is this “we”, and which you speak? Mr. Cain is a joke…bottom line!

@Guest- With Herman Cain’s credentials I doubt very much he is considered “a joke.”  You, on the other hand,…

        • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_X73WRUW7TRWJ5I5SYR6LNMBDUQ Usman

Renelda, Joe Scaborough of Morning Joe agrees that Herman Cain is a joke, his credentials notwithstanding. I do not think Mr. Cain is a serious candidate. He sticks his foot in his mouth way too much and most of his statements are just not of a Presidential quality. Here is a man who in less than 72 hours proposed an electrified fence on our borders with a warning sign that reads “WARNING: IT COULD KILL YOU” in both English and Spanish. The very next day on meet the Press, he cowered when his comments came under scrutiny by claiming it was just a joke. That change in tone angered the crazy tea bagging supporters who had cheered him on earlier. So what does he do? The next day, he appears with racist Sheriff Joe Arpaio stating this time that he does not apologize for his comments. This man is just all over the place.

The other reason why as a black man I have very little respect for Mr. Cain is this; when he initially jumped on the Republican ticket for President and began running his loose mouth with those condescending remarks about black people, he got a earful from angry blacks in the polity. Rather than Mr. Cain address black people who reacted negatively to his comments, he runs over to a majority white tea party rally to complain to his masters that black people hate him because he left the democratic plantation.  And I am supposed to take this clown seriously? If I was running for public office and my people have a perception problem with me (that perception is inspired by history by the way), I would go to them and address those perceptions problems in ways that whether or not it changes their minds, they’ll listen with open mind. That’s what a sensible man would who cares about his people would do. Mr. Cain however, ran off like a little punk to the Slave master to complain to about his rejection by those “field Negro”. Sorry, Mr. Cain is not only a joke, he is a clown.

“Leroy”, the Troll, nobody is deleting your elementary gibberish you call self thought. You and your fellow white trash can keep spewing that ignorant and useless “thinking for yourself” rant. Since you porch monkey believe you think for yourself, here’s your homework, and it is open book by the way.

      1. In what way has President Obama been a failure as a leader?
      2. Give specific instances where President Obama has demanded that black people play the victim. Please cite dates of such instances before and after he became President.

      3. What plantation has President Obama put anyone in since becoming President? What States of the Federation are these plantations located?

      4. Which of the many black that you mentioned want something for nothing?
      5. Who are the black people that want somebody else’s money?
      6. What were the mitigating factors that gave rise to the civil rights movement?
6b.What was the socioeconomic condition of black people pre the civil civil rights?

Remember, this is an open book homework, and these are very simple questions. Let’s see how ‘self thinking’ you are.

What a stupid name for a so-called support group.  If they think of themselves as “Honkies” then so be it.  Whatever they want to call themselves is alright with the Democratic party because it still won’t help Cain receive the GOP nomination. Herman Cain is merely the kind of Negro that the modern-day racist love, he has single-handedly absolved them of any and every racist act or thought they’ve ever had and for that I am sure they are eternally grateful.  What a rude awakening they will receive when President Obama is re-elected and Cain has to go back to making pizzas.

    • http://twitter.com/EbonyCali Ebony

He won’t even go back to making pizzas, they’ll kick him out of that nice plantation house and put him back in the fields with his good buddy Michael Steele.

      • bob

So let me get this straight it is ok for you to make racist statements, but not for people of other races ie whites?

        • Ivory

Thats exactly right! No wonder racism still exists. Many Black people call you out for being racist, then turn around and make racist remarks. Unfortunately these are the people that give a bad name to the black community. People like ebony are the reason that many people will never see blacks as equal. They simply think that they are immune from being racists because they have black skin. The race card, don’t leave home without it.

I love “HONKIES FOR HERMAN.”  He is surely shaking up things in the stodgy Republican Party.  He says he’s in it to win it.  He does gather southern white support.
I wonder how many traditionally Democratic African Americns will defect to his party?
Whether he wins or not, it’s good to see a black-skinned man of slave ancestry in the
running, at least at this point.  Honkies aren’t afraid, or ashamed of black-skinned blacks
even if too many of us are inured with a slave mentality with regard to skin color. As I have
posted, I find Herman Cain refreshing.   I still haven’t found a candidate for U.S. President

Since Herman Cain isn’t a Democrat, he isn’t Black enough for us to support him. We don’t want to see two Black men running for President next year. Seeing white people support a Black man we have turned our backs on is disgusting. We would rather see a man who’s ranch was named “Niggerhead” on the ticket instead of a Black man we don’t agree with. It isn’t crab mentality to fight against the success of a Black man we are not going to vote for anyway. Supporting a Black man trying to do something no Black man has done before won’t hurt you. It might even feel good to see two Black men running for President of the United States.

I think you underestimate the disease we call racism. And I question the white economic class factor with regards to voting for a far-rightwing conservative black v a similarly leaning non-black. I think Herman Cain is playing to his base. Cain is doing a good job of making comments that most Black Americans view as self-hatred and not in their economic or social interests. I believe a majority of non-blacks feel comfortable with Cain’s no demands and non-confrontation on subjects that are race specific in the body politic. Add religion, pro-life, animus for poor and criminalized Blacks the stage is set for a Herman Cain or Alan West to run strongly in non-Black areas across the US, and win a number of CD’s and statewide races that include a majority of white rightwing candidates. Remember in a perverse way some of those conservative and rightwing whites will vote for a Herman Cain type to mitigate their otherwise racist voting tendencies.

I disagree with Herman Cain on many political issues, but he is no dummy. I believe Cain is playing the hand that he has been dealt and is doing an outstanding job. Cain’s combination of academic, business, and entertainment success is powerful – and being a Baptist preacher is icing on the political cake. Cain has a commanding presence among the motley crew of would-be Republican candidates for the 2012 presidential election.

A contest between President Barack H Obama and business executive Herman Cain for POTUS would be compelling and historic. A fact Cain would down play if form holds. Even though I am a Baptist and Obama supporter, I expect Pastor Cain to give Obama fits in the presidential debates. Cain should have a slight advantage because he will be playing offense with a lot of tricks in his rhetorical bag accumulated over his 66 years; and he might have an edge in likeability because he is a 60s guy. The only areas that I favor President Obama in the hypotheticals  debates is on policy issues.

Cut the crap Bub. W Bush ran the US economy into a depression with unfunded wars in Iraq and Afghanistan – while cutting taxes and borrowing trillions of dollars from China, Japan, and other nations. Leaving President Obama and the Congress in a terrible economic mess with the loss of more than 5 MILLION Jobs on George Bushes eight year watch. BTW: Bush and the Republicans also added $5.7 trillion to the debt and also increased the national deficit to record levels.

Given those economic realities, President Obama and the Democratic Congress passed the $787B American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to jump start the US economy. Legislation which was opposed by the irresponsible tax cutting and borrowing Republicans. The slow and long process of economic recovery was helped by the Recovery Act funding. A large portion of the funds were used on infrastructure projects across the nation with no regard to race.

          • bob

Please do the math on Obama’s debt he has accumulated and get back to me.  Nice try. The money infused by Bush  and Obama has done nothing to spur the economy. BTW I am not a fan of GWB.

          • Anonymous

I refuted your idiotic Republican posturing with facts about W Bushes depression, and your only concern is about the amount of money Congress and President Obama have spent to stabilize the economy. Suffice to say the TARP loans to GM, banks, insurance companies, Chrysler, and other entities saved and created several million jobs before the Recovery Act funding was infused into the economy.

I accept the fact that an imbecile can’t understand complex economic postulating in a debt v reward scenario. Hence, the debt President Obama  and Congress  incurred to save the American economy is viewed as an abstract from my perspective.

I wonder what non-monitezed approach a moron would use to recover from a Hoover type depression in the US? Do you have a clue, Bub? lol!

          • bob

BTW not a Republican.Several million jobs my arse please check your facts. Nice try . Spending money like a drunken sailor does not get you out of a depression/recession. I believe we have spent on average of 150K and greater to create one job. We must cut, cut and cut some more. You guys get soo pissy when anyone expresses a different view point. Automatically I am a racist for saying anything contrary to your beliefs. BTW it may have saved GM, but for how long?

          • bob

I hold GWB and Obama responsible for the present state of our Union.

  • bob

How many jobs has Obama created for young black men?

    • http://pulse.yahoo.com/_X73WRUW7TRWJ5I5SYR6LNMBDUQ Usman

Well, the conservative honkies say government’s role is NOT to create jobs. They say government just needs to stay out of the way and jobs will create themselves. Going by honky philosophy, why would the President create jobs for anyone? That’s not the President’s job, so why expect him to do something that is not in his job description? It appears you are blatantly ignorant about what President’s do. However, to show you what President Obama has done for the black people, his administration has appropriated the Sum of $850 million over the next 10 years for Historically black colleges. That money is designed to help black colleges improve faculties, infrastructure, enrollment, programs, technology, research, etc. Additional funding without Federal restrictions has also been pledge to the tune of $100 million. Now, who attends and works at historically black colleges if not black people?

For illiterates like you bob, the President has accomplished a couple of things here. He has funded and helped improve quality of higher education for black students, as well as create employment because of funds now available to hire more black professors, more technicians, more black renovation contractors, etc. Given the watchful eyes of the honky slave masters watching his every move in order to raise hell should he toss watermelon to his famished brothers/sisters toiling on the field, funding black colleges is one smart way to help black people without honky’s going totally nuts.

Number two thing President Obama has done for black people; President Obama’s healthcare bill approves $2.5 BILLION dollars in student loan overhaul to Historically black colleges and universities. Which other President in history has been that generous to black people? I can’t hear you? Still asking what President Obama has done for black people? Now bury your pathetic head in shame and run like all honky trolls do when whooped soundly.

Bob, the illiterate, you asked what the President has done for Black people, and I supplied you with answers. How come you are not satisfied? 16% unemployment amongst black people is not President Obama’s fault. Before President Obama even ran for council seat in Illinois, black people in America were disproportionately under represented in the American Labor force. This is common knowledge, even trolls like you should know this. The reasons why black people have always been more adversely affected with regards to unemployment varies. Some of it is discrimination, some of it is outsourcing of factory jobs in many industrial cities with significant black populations. Most of those industrial jobs were the biggest employers of black people. Once those factories closed shop and left, thousands of black workers became unemployed, but this is a trend that began 20-30 years ago. Factories began outsourcing two decades ago. Rising unemployment for blacks in America is not a recent phenomena.

During President Bush’s last year and months in office, America was loosing hundreds of thousands of jobs monthly. This is undisputed fact. Those job losses affected not just blacks but everyone. Then we had a recession, and more job loss followed. To be an unemployed college grad is better than not having a college diploma at all. An illiterate like you may not appreciate that kind of thinking. But here’s where the President operates on a higher realm than you back wood redneck country hicks. President Obama understands the importance of education in shaping the future of a people. Now listen, when President Obama first became a community organizer in Illinois, do you know what was happening to black families in Chicago? Many had lost their well paying factory jobs and were facing all kinds of challenges. Many were facing eviction from apartments and homes because they were unable to pay rent or mortgage as a result of unemployment. The President as in his community organizing work soon realized why many black people could not find decent paying work. He found out that many were untrained or lacked required skills for the new kind of jobs that was replacing the lost factory jobs that most blacks had done for years. The only way black people could be competitive in the labor market was to be retrained or acquire new skills for the emerging jobs of the 21st century…most of it in technology and healthcare. To be equipped for these jobs, one must be enrolled in a school, be trained and duly certified. Is it sinking into your head now?

The President is not just talking and pushing for education funding because these are nice speeches to make, he knows that if more and more of our people enrolled in college and get trained in relevant fields, we stand a better chance of being very productive employment wise on a national scale. Like I have already showed you, the President has committed 2.5 billion dollars to funding of historically black colleges over the next decade. That is the best thing he can do for his people. He cannot stand on the street corner and hand them checks or cash. If he did that, your people will hit the roof in their white outrage. But more importantly, we black people have pride. We don’t want or need handouts like trailer park redneck white trash like you and your cousins. We just need what we are rightly entitled to. This education funding is fine. Our children, our young people, and our adults will benefit from it, and we thank our President for it. Anymore useless questions????? I have answers for you!!!!!

Actually, unemployment amongst blacks went from 12 to 16% under Obama. So education in lieu of repirations? Your right black folks as a whole never ask for hand outs like all of those hard working wards of the state in Louisana. Say hi to all your black panther buddies at your next meeting.

Redneck Bob, there is nothing hate filled in my response to you. No, nobody here has referred to Gen. Colin Powell, or Condy Rice as sellouts. The sellouts were clearly listed, and neither Condy Rice nor were mentioned. As far as who white people are descendants of, I am not sure who your ancestors are. Many historians say your appearance onto the World stage can only be traced back no more than 4000 years ago.

If you want my personal opinion about your origins, here is what I think. If you read the Bible, there is a narrative in the Old testament of how fallen angels who had been banished from heaven were cast down to earth. These banished angels then proceeded to copulate with humans. It is very possible that the offsprings of the unholy union between cast out devil angels and humans is what produced the white race. This is the only rational explanation for many of the satanic acts white people have committed on earth. Their deception, their wickedness, their contempt for others, their need to enslave people, to subdue, and to control people, their blood thirsty nature, their destructive tendencies, etc, all is passed down genetically through shared DNA with their father….the one whom the Bible referred to initially as Lucifer.

This is not to hurt your feelings, I am just offering my views. However, the question I have for you is this, what exactly do you want or think President Obama should do for black people?

You are completely dillusional. You might want to talk to your GP about increasing your meds.

The entire system is corrupt. All politicians are criminals who have been bought by the criminal bankers. Democracy and Capitolism does not work. No matter what government you have the greedy will win out and there will arise two groups of people– the few rich who own and control everything and the majority poor– that’s the way civilizations have always ended up. Just admit it. At least Mr.Cain is not pretentious.

I think we take for granted the fact that our Reublic has sustained itself (up till now) for the past 200+  years. Most great civilizations fall after a few hundred years ie rome.

I am really having difficulty understanding the mentality behind a lot of the comments that were made here, stating that anyone who supports Cain is a “racist.”  If this is going to be a free and equal country, why is any one group or race expected to be treated any differently from the rest of the population?  Can anyone courteously answer this question without going off on a hateful tirade?
Anytime I hear crass statements purporting that ANY race (Black, Hispanic, American Indian, Asian, Middle Eastern, Caucasian, whatever) are supposed to receive special concessions, they come across as being the most blatantly racist of all and the ones who refuse to let this country move forward in erasing racial boundaries.  The double standard is NOT acceptable.  We have got to learn from the mistakes that were made in the past and progressively move FORWARD.  Same opportunities, same expectations, same rules should apply to every American citizen across the board. Period.
