Herman Cain Goes Off on Rick Perry In the “Niggerhead” Controversy

Herman Cain says that Rick Perry is insensitive in the "Niggerhead" controversyRick Perry’s campaign is doing overtime damage control after a Washington Post articlereported that the candidate’s family owned a hunting camp with the word “Niggerhead” painted on a rock.   Perry claims that his father replaced the word in 1983 or 1984, once the family began to lease the property.   He is also claiming that he never owned the property himself.

Herman Cain is, and always will be, more of a black man than Barack Obama ever was. People dismiss him and call him an Uncle Tom simply because he puts an ‘R’ next to his name, but Barack Obama would never have the guts to speak out against the word nigger or against anything ailing black people. He’s too afraid of offending white people. Barack is way more of a Tom than Cain. Not even close.

    • Godwin

Amen, TBD.  Cain is an authentic African-American with free market values–you know, the kind that help black folks like me get on.  –tc

      • Adebayo

Lol, self deceivers!!!!. TBD and Godwin, two fake characters. This story has nothing to do with President Obama. Regardless of how it pains you, President Obama is President. Deal with it, or leave America. Pull yourselves up by your boot strings and relocate to another country if you choose. The slave master’s children don’t want you here anyway. And you Godwin, you are delusional to think there is such a thing as free market. Think for a minute in the context of America, is anything free in this country? If not, you must be a fool to believe that fable. If you black people in America would only travel a little, and perhaps live outside of America for once, you might actually become free of the lies you’ve been fed with about American exceptionalism that the right wing cons love to advertise. Mr Cain is not more authentic than the next black man on the street. If anything, he is just an entertainment to redneck whites. Happy negroes like both of you.

Herman grew up in Vine City (Atlanta, Ga.), and I can tell you that he did absolutely NOTHING for that community! As a matter of fact he has moved and stayed as FAR AWAY as possible from the people and that entire area. The only reason he mentions “Vine City” is because he wants people like you to hoist him up on your shoulder and say, “Now here’s a real Black man!”

Here’s a guy (Obama) who has a Harvard Law Degree and he decides to go to one of America’s Blackest cities to become a community organizer. He was raised by his mother and white “Maternal Grandparents,” but he stills finds a beautiful sista to spend his life with?

Write another comment so we can all laugh at you again. LOL

Btw, we saw what happened the last time he “offended” white people.” If you don’t know, then look it up! Did you have his back? I doubt it……..

      What’s In A
      Name?

Copyright by Victoria Rowels ©1983, 2011

What’s in a name? The young student
      asked.

And why is the future connected to the past?

And why does that word that starts with a “N”,

Incite violence in the most peaceful of men?

The teacher looked perplexed and didn’t know where to begin,

To explain that word that starts with a “N”.

The dictionary seemed like a good place to start,

      But it didn’t even
touch upon the most important part.

How can a volume designed to define,

Words and phrases formed in the mind,

Give meaning to and take apart,

A concept of hate formed in the heart:

Of men who deny the humanity,

Of darker hued people who look like me.

Of men who believe that their lack of melanin,

Makes them pure and incapable of sin.

Of men who prayed and held Bibles in their hand,

While they raped and pillaged humanity’s motherland.

Of men who built empires, fortunes and fame,

By promoting a concept we mistakenly call: “a name”.

What’s in a name? The teacher asked.

And why is the future connected to the past?

And why does that word that starts with a “ N”.

Incite violence in the most peaceful of men?

The student tried to answer but he was a little confused.

So he stopped in mid-sentence and asked to be excused.

The teacher asked the student why he suddenly had to go.

At first the student looked down and said: “I don’t know”.

Then the student decided to reveal his newly made plans,

To go and study the history of all hue-mans.

      What’s in a name?

We will never truly progress, as a people, as long as we accept the hype that to be a Republican means one must be a white racist, or an Uncle Tom. Not that I believe the Republican party is the answer for the black race to go forward, but the Democrat Party is not the only way we have to succeed, politically, as a people. An open mind, and going by the facts, not leaning on our emotions, is what will help us to achieve the advancement of our people.

    • Mddear

I think the Democratic Party has done more to hurt blacks throughout the years than any other organization in this country. They have more bigotry and prejudice than anyone else – they just hide it really well with their liberal double-speak.
Look at the major cities that are run by Democrats - look at the unemployment rates among blacks, the crime rates for blacks and the highs school and college graduation rates. Compare those cities to ones run by folks who truly believe in equal opportunity for ALL and see how they stack up.
It does not profit liberal Democrats for blacks to succeed – when someone from any race gets too well educated or manages to pull themselves away from dependency on the governing power, it threatens the politician’s livelihood. So, it is better to keep promoting that slave mentality while espousing “progress”. The only progress they are interested in is their own political progress.

Why can’t we think past color? Ron Paul sees us all as INDIVIDUALS.

    • Msddre

Because ‘seeing past color’ is actually false for any person to even admit it. You are also guilty of it.

Come down off your soapbox, thanks…

  • David

To explain that word that starts with an N. Was the word that could be said to black people by any white person of any class or stature to a black person of any class or stature . The backing with the law on their side enabled white folks to force Jim Crow, segregation, injustice and murder on a race of people that their ancestors fought over to keep us enslaved and  denigrated to build a America for the white race of people. Yes much of this had changed before the assassination of Dr. King in 1968, just 43 years ago. Yet white folks still say it was a long time ago and a time past, but white folks want to remember their confederate treasonist army as heroes of fighters that fought to maintain states rights and the southern way of life, slavery. To me white people are the Cain of the Bible, and though blacks countinue to kill each other now, it stems from a unlearned history.
