This might be considered a miracle of modern medicine. A Connecticut woman was mauled two years ago by a chimpanzee and had her face disfigured. After two years of surgeries, doctors are finally revealing the woman’s new face to the public.
Charla Nash was first revealed on The Today Show on Thursday. The images were later released in Boston, where she had the facial surgery. Nash herself didn’t appear on the show because relatives say that she was too weak to do the interview.
