Hilarious: Aaron McGruder’s BET – Black Evil Television (Video)

Watch this video to see Aaron McGruder, creator of “The Boondocks,” describe BET as Black Evil Television. In a parody of Austin Powers, McGruder goes to work on the interesting images of the network and makes fun of what some speculate could be happening behind the scenes. Although McGruder’s work is clearly a joke, there are many who take the programming of BET very seriously and have legitimate reason for concern.

Still waiting on “Boondocks: The Movie”. I’m sure more than BET would get put on blast. And it will be hilarious. And the theaters will be packed.

I’m no fan of BET or Aaron Mcgruders. Hisuse of the “N” word and other racial sterotypes IMO is a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

This is beyond satirical. Something is going on with Aaron and there should be an intervention on this young man soon. I saw the beginnings of his public decline when viewing the Tyler Perry “satirical farce”. By the way, I’m not a fan of Mr. Perry nor BET but somehow the intensity and vitriolic presentation of the two by Mr. McGruder suggests that a psychiatric evaluation for the latter would not be an exaggeration!

The funny part is that his satire still has gone over so many heads and nothing will change. BET will still reign supreme and continue to destroy the black image in America annnnd Tyler Perry will also continue to do the same. Everyone at BET, as well as Tyler Perry and Steve Harvey can all get the hell out of here.

Comical satire just isn’t effective enough. If you ask me, some of these niggas have simply GOT to go…

Aaron McGruder is a REVOLUTIONARY GENIUS who continues to perpetuate the truth through his cartoons, especially through The Boondocks. He sees through the bullshit. BET. BLACK EXPLOITATION TELEVISION.

Anybody can criticize,( as we read daily). So what’s the solution? If you don’t like something, CHANGE IT! Right now, BET is one of the few black stations that blacks have. That gives us the power to change it. In fact, I think BET is beginning to respond. It now features “Reed Between The Lines” a non stereotypical black family and “Black Girls Rock”, which I love. Want more change? Continue to make your voices heard. Even make suggestions. Write in! Turn to another channel! There are ways to get movement. Find out what they are and make them work for you. Then work it on the other black stations (which aren’t that much better). YOU GET WHAT YOU DEMAND.. As long as we know that the answer is NOT to eliminate the station. That would be “throwing the baby out with the bathwater”.
