Pastor Convicted of Sexually-Assaulting 11-Yr Old Girl

Rev. Morris Eubanks (pictured) is invoking God in his plea of innocence, after being convicted of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl. The pastor told a judge in Lake County that God will punish those who bore “false witness” against him during the trial. Eubanks has preached at churches in North Chicago and Zion and refused to take the stand in his own defense, stating that his faith would clear his name. It appears that his faith didn’t work.

Eubanks has been convicted of aggravated criminal sexual abuse and predatory criminal sexual assault, with the jury deliberating for only four hours before delivering a conviction. The pastor is accused of fondling the girl on two occasions in August 2008. He has been in jail since July 2009.

Why do we need to be subjected to another article about a person that finds it acceptable to force his sexual desires on a child???

Why isn’t there a big out cry from the public about child abuse? It is so acceptable now that we don’t care anymore? This is a revolving door theme with this page to report violence against children. Why don’t we take action and start a movement. People have forgotten that this is a crime but it will ruin a precious life. It has taken me years to try and forget the crime that was done against me. This little girl will have to be in therapy for a long time to realize that it was not her fault.

Look in your own lives. I am sure there is a female that is crazy is very unusual. She was probably abused as a child and was never helped or even rejected by her own family.. That is enough to make you crazy. Do we need to keep this going? Let’s stop this and start a movement in our neighborhoods against child abuse!

continuous sexual assault against children in churches and other places around

Race of jury mattered to A.Cutright. Matters to a lot of people of all races. It’s a weakness of the jury system.

Obviously assult on child is equally serious crime regardless of color.

If it were a White pastor, would the race of the child make any difference to Al Sharpton, J.Jackson, NAACP, MSM, Black media ?

Sadly interracial crimes have always got BOTH races more worked up.
