Scottie Pippen Says that LeBron James is Better than Michael Jordan

Scottie Pippen, a retired NBA superstar formerly of the Chicago Bulls, shocked the world and Bulls fans alike when he made an ill-timed remark shortly after his Chicago Bulls were knocked out of the Eastern Conference Finals by the Miami Heat. Pippen actually made the claim that LeBron James is better than Michael Jordan, who played alongside Pippen for years as a member of the Bulls.

“Michael Jordan is probably the greatest scorer to ever play in the game,” Pippen said on an ESPN radio show. “But I may go as far to say LeBron James may be the greatest player to ever play the game.”

Even with Scottie using the word “maybe” to soften the blow, these were the words heard around the world. Michael Jordan is on a golf course someplace laughing his head off, and Bulls fans are wondering why Pippen would make this statement during such a disappointing time in the season. Some also wonder if Scottie might be a bit jealous over the fact that he was nothing more than Jordan’s sidekick during his years in Chicago.

“I’ve never seen a player that can dominate a game the way LeBron James can. He doesn’t always have to score. He makes plays for other guys. But when the game is on the line and you need a shot to be made, he’s going to make that play,” said Pippen.

What’s surprising is that Scottie seems to have forgotten that winning six NBA titles, as Jordan has done but James has not, required Michael to take over every aspect of the game, including selling hot dogs during halftime. Pippen also claimed that James might be better than Jordan because he plays at both ends of the court. What he fails to mention is that in addition to winning 10 scoring titles, Jordan was also named to the NBA All-Defensive Team on nine separate occasions.

Maybe Scottie needs to go back to wherever retired players go when no one is paying attention to them anymore. No wonder the poor man is broke.

Is Mr. Pippen jealous of MJ? The Bulls won six titles because MJ led the way with tought tenacious in your face defense along with Scottie and Rodman etc.
MJ never quit in a game like King James did last year in the Eastern Conference finals.
MJ’s game is light years ahead of King James. What has King James won?
MJ Played his heart out on every play shame on you Scottie.
If you need some money why don’t you just go and ask MJ like a man rather than take baseless pot shots at the greatest player in the history of the NBA.

I am not sure what is going on between Scottie and Michael, but one thing is for sure, Michael was tried, tested, and proven to be a real champion. More importantly, the one year the Bulls didn’t win a championship was when Michael took time off after the death of his Dad. Also, I remember Michael taking up for Scottie when he didn’t have the heart to stand up to the likes of Xavier McDaniel after being clothes-lined. Scottie needs to be a man and talk to Michael man-to-man and stop bad-mouthing him!

Pippen need to take his dog face and go back to being irrelevant..James has not won any championships, while Jordan was the whole damn team..I will give Jordan his props when it’s due..I did’nt like how he conducted his personal life, but that was separate from the game..Let’s see if James will be able to take it all the way to the championship ring..

socttie pippen is crazy the man played with michael jordan all those years on the court and won six titles,six rings,i mean i can go on with michael jordan has done in the league but for pippen to make that kind of comment shows he is not that close micheal jordan….while jordan continues to make the big money socttie pippen makes nothing and has failed at every business venture go figure

AIN’T YOU TIRED?

I am! I am tired of witnessing my community struggling with economic survival when there are viable things to do. As a community, we respond to situations and conditions in the traditional manner of ignoring and denying reality as if reality is a disease. Our youth, born of value; many subjected to a cycle of devaluation, experiencing emotions in provocative situations, often intimidating and confusing.

I am tired of watching the volume of mind energy, misdirected and surely neglected, devalued to where reality, is not respected, thus too many of our youth serve as fuel for the judicial and prison system; while the undertaker is experiencing brisk business. I am tired of that!

I am tired of BS in survival efforts; I am tired of ignorance, shielding BS and most of all I am tired of watching community leaders unqualified to lead clueless followers, down the same traditional maze of illusions.

I am tired of this exhibition of pure ignorance in relationship to the money game. The money game is an artificial system, devised by minds with an agenda to control and manipulate the masses. The planet existed long before the money game came into play. We live in a capitalistic society, so why not accept the reality and deal with it; play the money game to win. If money is involved in any form of your survival, you are participating in a system that launders money from drugs, theft, kidnapping, murder, stuffing, counterfeiting and organized deceit.

I am tired of my community enslaving their mind with words such as morality, a word, developed by the human mind. Invoking morality in monetary concerns is a prescription for limitations and restrictions.

What makes me very tired? I am exhausted, waiting on enough minds in the community to cross the threshold of fear and connect with reality for a real journey into the future, exercising drastic changes to traditional approaches to resolve of situations and conditions that continue to smother us.

It does not have to be this way; it can be different, with different decisions. There is no need to fear reality, recognizing reality is not harmful, the denial of reality is a disadvantage. To resolve a real situation, a real assessment is required. Misinformation is not viable in resolving real situations and conditions.

To continue to accept existing situations and conditions, certifies a lack of knowledge and substantiates denial of reality. There is a deliberate process of misdirection of mind energy in our community and until this fact is recognized, results will continue to be the same. Praying, hoping, pleading and begging will not change this fact
