Race Baiting or Blaming the Victim? White Females Say They Were Raped by Black Athletes

 These lil nasty white tramps love being groupies to black athletes!! I seriously doubt if they were forced to do ANYTHING! They are sluts and whores…gimme a break, and they will fuck and suck for little or nothing. The athletes need to learn some self control and stop being stupid as hell fallin for the okie doke…white girls love to set brothas up, especially when they dont get their way or the amount of money they want.

I find it really disturbing that people are using the same language slave owners and racists once used to excuse their rape of black women, in responding to this story. As Boyce Watkins points out, the problem is how The Today Show structured the story. Black women are just as vulnerable to sexual violence as white women, and are assaulted by white and black athletes.  That should have been added to round out the story.  But when we start dismissing the rape of women because the accused rapists is a black athlete and the woman non-black (and I would point out that the guy at Indiana University was not an athlete, seemed to brag about raping women on his FB page, and the women is not white), we are only a stone’s throw away from dismissing as “sluts” and “whores” the black women these athletes rape, or the more scarily, the children that they rape and brutalize, like what happened in Cleveland, TX.

I won’t entertain any of the negative racial comments here, but I will say that I think you are both wrong and right on this point of view.  Could they have shown different stories, of course, and probably should have.  But let’s not forget, a woman was (presumably) sexually assaulted, and if these men didn’t want to be portrayed in this way, they should have kept it in their pants.  It is also difficult to complain about or point out race in this situation when we have the case of the Duke lacrosse team still floating about (have you heard about the accuser’s current status? okay).  All that being said, maybe someone needs to point out to these young men just how repulsive their behavior has become.  I played D1 (old term) college sports and was simply disappointed and appalled by some of the behavior I saw from some of the young black men on the team.  I expected more from people who had been given the chance of a lifetime.  Notice I said some, not all.  I was also fortunate enough to be around some young black men who were shining examples of professionalism and great representatives of their culture.  Unfortunately, the wonderful examples to the community are often overshadowed by today’s over-hyped ”me” mentality of major sports.   And as long as we keep pressuring to university officials with racial profiling, these young men will continue to give us reasons to view stories such as this.  Let’s face it, they make their teams alot of money, why even walk that path when they will a) lose money, and b) have to listen to our community make up excuses for our own failures?

The race card is being played because the issue of race in America is still at the core of it’s history.  Black president notwithstanding, it’s an issue requiring serious dialogue vs. the continued attempts to whistle past the graveyard pretending there are no bodies buried there. 

Two wrongs don’t make it right…..But what about all those Black slaves  women who was sexually abuse by the slave masters….

These brothers should steer clear of these tramps. This has been going on for a while. When the white athletes  commit rape, it is swept under the rug. Same in the pros.

1. My rapist (Dwayne Fry) wasn’t a college athlete.
2. I wasn’t a “groupie” nor did I hang out with athletes.
3. I wasn’t out getting drunk with him that night, or any other night.
4. I’m not white.

I know when women do awful things to perpetuate negative stereotypes it makes me hate THEM for doing so. (namely the women who cry rape when they in fact weren’t raped) I don’t hate on the people who undoubtedly react to it. Stupid people will always be stupid, women don’t need to give any more reasons to be called and treated like whores and black men don’t need to give anymore reasons to be disrespected and sanctioned. Furthermore @yahoo-NX5IGHMKOTCEIXSMMEWGDWAWFM:disqus- its people like you who make comments such as yours that allow the racists to stay racist, the sexist to stay sexist and the rapists to stay rapists.

Instead of jumping into victim blaming at the defense of rapists just because you share the same race maybe you should take some lessons from @833cb2181e2c5bb70735d937c9d9f90d:disqus. What would the world be like if every Muslim defended every terrorist? If every Catholic defended every crusader? If every Latin-American defended every dictator? If every German defended every Nazi? If we all blindly jumped to the defense of those who share our color, religion or creed; I ask you, what would the world be like then?
