On Monday, International Monetary Fund Chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn was charged with attempted rape, unlawful imprisonment and sexual assault on a West African hotel maid at Manhattan’s Sofitel Hotel.
Dominique Strauss-Kahn was taken off an Air France flight and into custody at JFK International Airport after his accuser, a 32-year-old West African immigrant, filed a complaint that Strauss-Kahn sexually assaulted, sodomized and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
Further investigations reveal that the the woman accusing Strauss-Kahn lives with her 15-year-old daughter in a residence reserved by Harlem Community AIDS UNITED for adults (and their families) who have the virus. Due to medical confidentiality laws, there is no confirmation that she has HIV or AIDS, but the agency only secures apartments for adults with the disease. According to the agency, one person within the household must have it to qualify.
Bodily fluid was exchanged between the two as the woman accusing Strauss-Kahn alleges that she spit his semen out after being forced to perform oral sex. According to the Centers for Disease Control: “It is possible for either partner to become infected with HIV through performing or receiving oral sex.”
New allegations of sexual assault are arising internationally while calls pour in for Strauss-Kahn, currently on suicide watch at Rikers Island jail, to resign as chief of the IMF.
