The film Thor, with actor Idris Elba, is leading the pack in the box office results after the returns from Friday. Jumping the Broom, a romantic comedy partly sponsored by TD Jakes, came in fourth. Jakes’ film is projected to earn $13 million by the end of the weekend. You can buy a few brooms with that. The results so far are as follows:
1. Thor — $25.7 mil
2. Fast Five — $10.5 mil
3. Something Borrowed — $4.8 mil
4. Jumping the Broom — $4.2 mil
5. Rio — $2.0 mil
